Hello,

I am not sure if it would be possible to place the preposition "in" at the end of the clause in the following example:

These are the books in which my mum keeps her jewelry.

Thus:

These are the books which my mum keeps her jewelry in.

Might it be possible to omit the preposition "in"?:

These are the books which my mum keeps her jewelry.

These are the [STRIKE]books[/STRIKE] boxes which my mum keeps her jewelry in.
That's fine.
These are the [STRIKE]books[/STRIKE] boxes which my mum keeps her jewelry.
That isn't.

I assume your mother did not keep her jewelry in books.
