Dear all,
I had my hat blown [off /away/out] by a strong wind.
My hat was blown [off/away/out] by a strong wind.
In the sentences above, I think "off" and "away" are fine. But what about "out"?
I did some searching on Google, but that didn't make me sure if "out" was right or wrong.
