Dear teacher,

I am about to read this book to a group of kids. I would love to have some help to check if there is any error in my pronunciation. I don't want to ruin it for those kids. Besides, my reading doesn't sound native to my own ears, but I cannot put my finger on what exactly I did wrong. Could you give my some advice?

Thanks

Your pronunciation is excellent, almost perfect. You have just a tiny trace of a Chinese accent, one so small that your students are very unlikely to detect it. I have one small suggestion: in the earlier occurrences of "and" and "it" make sure you pronounce the final consonant. As you probably know, this is a special problem for native speakers of Chinese, in which I believe syllables never have a final consonant.

thank you so much for your kind words and great advice. I will practice more.
