Teenager reading

Hello!

I'm looking for some ideas regarding literature for thirteen or fourteen year old Italian girls studying English. I often just help them with their homework and then talk a bit about our lives and weekends, but I want to start some reading activities too. I think it's important for pronunciation but also to keep them interested in learning the language. Do you know of any useful websites I can browse through? I'm looking for interesting articles for that level of learning. They are studying english at school but I find most articles targeted at teenagers are too advanced for their level.

If you google simplified English texts, you will find many sites offering texts that might be of an appropriate language level and length.
