You might mean: "I wouldn't have time to lift weights."

If that's what you're trying to say, the tense you used is fine.

I wanted to say that what happens with me is, if somehow I get late for the gym I feel that I won't be able to lift weight properly. I mean I just don't feel like exercising or working out on that day but ususally I never get late.

Charlie, you are saying that I have to use past simple here, right?

If I WAS late....

For example:

If I was late for the gym I felt that I wouldn't be able to lift weights properly.

Also say:

I mean that I just didn't feel like exercising or working out on that day, but I wasn't late very often.
