Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentences?

Kosovo's independence from Serbia, which it unilaterally declared in February 2008, complies with international law, according to Thursday's ruling from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague.

comply = obey; act in accordance with someone's rules, commands, or wishes
comply = to yield assent; to accord; agree, or acquiesce; to adapt one's self; to consent or conform; -- usually followed by with

If you join the club, you must comply with its rules

He promised to comply fully with my requests.
comply = fulfill, accomplish

We have to comply with their request.

They have to comply with users' demand.

It is my duty to comply with the present order.
