Would you please correct my mistakes in this text?
The king Hugo with his escort went in secrecy to see a fortune-teller in an isolated village. The old woman held his soft, manicured hand in her knotted hand and read the lines of his palm in silence for a while. Then she said, “Your Majesty, I can tell you some news, but I’m afraid if I tell you the truth, you’re going to kill me.”
“I swear by all my gold and diamonds, by my wife and my children, I’m not going to hurt you whatever you say. I’m ready to take it like a man,” said the King.
“There is good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?”
“The bad one.”
“They’re going to murder you.”
“And the good one?” asked the King in a shaky voice.
“They’ll do it while you’re asleep so you’ll feel nothing.”
