Context: US movie, 1950. No subtitles.
Dialogue:

Man 1: And the note?
Man 2: It's a ******* for a locker trunk in an storage place in Philadelphia.

I missed the ***** part. It sounds to me like "a kane chequerer", but I am almost sure he refers to something like a receipt. As a matter of fact, he has a slip of paper in his hands.

Please, can you understand what he says?

Audio attached.

Now i think I hear "a raincheck ticket". Would it make sense in the context?

Are you sure the audio file isn't damaged? It sounds like he is starting to say "claim check" but then sounds like it stutters or repeats over the "check" part. I definitely hear "claim." "Claim check" would make sense.

You are right, SoothingDave, the first word is "claim", the second is "check", as I suspected. Could it be "ticket" the third one? Then what he says would be "claim check ticket". I think that the audio isn't damaged. If you want to be sure, you can watch the youtube video clip here:

That's not an adequate context. Tell us the name of the movie. If you don't know, tell us it's not known.

GoesStation, "Outside the wall", no subtitles, no script available. Never released on DVD or Bluray. No more clues. Did you watch the short youtube clip?

Thanks. I haven't had time, but claim check ticket would make sense.
