Can a warranty period [for a product] begin and stop to run? Here's an example.

"The warranty period shall be 24 months. It shall begin to run anew for repaired or replaced products. If the products cannot be used as intended owing to a defect, the warranty period shall stop to run until the defect has been remedied."

Thanks!

No, not a "stop to run."

You mean something like "If the use of the product during the warranty period is prevented due to a defect, the warranty period will be extended to ensure 24 months of operation."

How about this?

"If the products cannot be used as intended owing to a defect, the running of the warranty period shall be suspended until the defect has been remedied."

That sounds good.

One more question: Could I leave out "the running"?

"If the products cannot be used as intended owing to a defect, the warranty period shall be suspended until the defect has been remedied."

Thank you.

Yes.
