Here is the theme of the essay: In the past, people spent their lives doing one job. But nowadays, they change their job frequently. Please give the reasons and your suggestion.
My essay is as followed:
It is well noticed that people in present incline to change their job in short period while people in the past would like to work in one place. This kind of phenomenon should due to a combination of factors. To my mind, the main reasons are as followed.
Generally speaking, low salary plays a decisive role in one’s resignation. Job hopping can always bring about wage increases, when the current salary cannot satisfy people’s economic needs, they would like to alter job for a higher income. Meanwhile, little opportunity in career development, awful working circumstances can also lead to job hopping.
Nowadays, it is much easier to get new jobs as a result of the flourished economic circumstances. People have fewer anxieties to worry about no job to be found than before because there are great amounts of employment opportunities waiting for them. So once there is any difficulty, people would tend to change their employers rather than facing the problem.
In terms of companies, firstly, they should offer a reasonable payment, if the wage is too low to satisfy economic needs, frequent resignation is unavoidable. In addition, the companies should offer an arena in which the capable workers can make promotion in their careers. Of course, the promotion should associate with the increase of salary. Most people would spend at least 40 hours in working per week, a comfortable working environment can be a positive factor for people to work in one place.
There is need to recognize the importance of careering training given by school, government, or HR department in company. This kind of training should encourage employee to deal with complex situation exiting in the jobs instead of fleeing it.
