Do we say "I don't be long" or "don't be long"?

For example "someone is watching a movie with their friend and that friend needs to go to washroom so, does that person need to say "don't be long. Come ASAP so that we can resume the movie"? And can that friend say " don't worry. I won't be long. I will be right back within a few minutes"?
