Given the question of ........... 'nature' or 'nurture' affects more on one's abilities, people typically believe that genetics is not of a trivial effect.

a. either
b. whether
c. which
d. what
e. blank

I think either a, b, or c could be put in here. And, I think d and e are incorrect. Am I right?

No. There's only one correct answer. Try again.

What is the source of that exercise? It's badly phrased.

I made this sentence myself. I don't know how to modify it to remove ambiguity. It is the first sentence in a paragraph talking about the importance of genetics.

The only correct answer is b.
