Hi,
I'd like to know an answer to a question on an English exam.
I'll appreciate your guidance and encouragement.

The question goes:
Complete sentence using the prompts.
Let's go out and eat at a restaurant ( ) tonight.

The "prompts" are written in my first language and says
change of pace, do unusual thing to refresh yourself, to have a mental break

The answer I can come up with is
for a change
but I'm not sure it sound as the prompts imply.

Thank you for your consideration.

"For a change" is correct and natural. It is exactly what I would say. I can't comment on the prompts in Japanese, of course, but the English translations you gave are all less natural than "for a change."
