Removing shoes

Which sentence is correct: 'He took out his shoes' or 'He put off his shoes' or 'He took out his pair of shoes'?

They are all wrong. Correct and natural is: he took off his shoes.

Note that I have changed your thread title. Titles should contain some or all of the words asked about.

Or, as you have stated in the title:

He removed his shoes.

"Took out his shoes" could be used in a different context, as in taking out the shoes from somewhere to wear them.
