I read this sentence in my notebook. I remember I wrote it down many years ago from dictionary.com but now I can't find it anywhere.

What does it mean?

Her medications did not agree with her.

Does it mean 1) The medicine she took didn't work on her disease or 2) The medicine she took made her feel sick.

I don't understand why it was hard to find. It's a common expression. (See below.)
