Hello,
I don't really undersstand the concept of present perfect tense or past participle, so are both of these sentences grammatically correct ?

1) After all the years I have been alive, only now you want to help me (showing that I am still alive, based on my understanding)

2) I have been sick for the past few days

None of your sentences are correct because they do not end with a single, appropriate punctuation mark.

...and #1 does not begin with a capital letter.

Oh, I wasn't emphasizing on the other errors, the blame is all on me. However, grammar-wise, is the sentence correct ?

Before we comment, use the "Edit Post" function to make the required changes to your sentences. In post #4, by the way, you need to remove the space before the question mark.

Well, some of it's done! You have added a capital letter to the beginning of sentence 2. However, there is still no full stop at the end of sentence 1 or sentence 2, and you still have a space before the question mark in posts #1 and #3, and a space before the exclamation mark in post #6.

...and missing punctuation and capitalisation are not 'minor errors'.
