800 and 1000 are the scores in the aptitude test mentioned.

Below is correct. Here it is used with just. On does not collocate with average score ie someone's score is either above or below the average score. It can also be the same as the average score but it would not be just on the average score.

On can be used with average in this way :

On average, I go to the cinema 3 times a month.

This appears to be the third time you have asked this question. Please don't repeat questions. People who are interested in reading the answers, and those giving the answers, want the chance to be able to read everything that has been written on the subject.

Agreed- it would say 800 out of 1,000 is the average score...

And keep in mind that the overwhelmingly likely reason for receiving only one reply to a question is that the answer is right, and nobody can be bothered posting just to agree. On the other hand, it's not common for wrong answers not to be challenged.
