Hi,

I would like to know your suggestion of the corect use of the verb offer in the sentences:

I offered to the customer a recomendation
I offered to customer a recomendation
I offered customer a recomendation

Thanks

Hi.

I would like to know your suggestion opinion of on the correct use of the verb "offer" in these sentences:

1. I offered to the customer a recommendation. ❌
2. I offered to customer a recommendation. ❌
3.
I offered customer a recommendation. ❌

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

As you can see above, they're all wrong, unfortunately. A grammatical version would be "I offered the customer a recommendation". However, it isn't really natural to use "offer" there. We give recommendations, or we recommend something.
