I’ve obviously written this as well, but that was just another form of procrastination as I hate spreadsheets and I suspect I’m not going to like the figures it spits out at all.

I can't figure out the difference between "I suspect", "I suppose", and "I think". What would be the meaning of the above sentence if I say "I suppose"?

Look at it this way.

I suspect I'm not going to like it - I wish it wasn't true, but I think it is.

Does that help?

Does the “suspect” in the following sentence mean the same as the dentist’s “suspect”?

The students look tired. I suspect they woke up early.

Can I use “suppose” for the above sentence? If so, what’s the difference?

No, in this case he thinks they woke up early, but he's not sure.

I wouldn't use "suppose" there, but I'm not sure how to explain why that is.
