[From a show called Fun Time]

[...]
Woman: What does a baby sheep call his father?
Man: Uh... Daddy?
Woman: No. Baa baa.
Man: Hey, hey, and what does a sheep call its baby sister?
Woman: Uh, hmm, uh...
Man: Meh meh.
Woman: Another good one! Oh!
Man: Oh, these sheep jokes are really baaad.
Woman: In a funny way.
Woman: Hey, let's do one more.

Does the woman mean:

a. Oh, these sheep jokes are really baaad in a funny way.
or
b. In a funny way, hey, let's do one more.

If it is (a), what does that mean?

It's a) and it means the jokes are bad but still funny. Do you understand why she used "baaad"?

Yeah, I think it is a pun - "baaad" means "bad" and "baa" (the sound made by a sheep). :ROFLMAO:

That's right. That's certainly funnier than the other two. I don't see how "Baa baa" works as a pun. The usual accepted terms for a father are "dad", "Daddy" and (for very tiny children) "Dada". "Baa baa" doesn't work as a pun or wordplay on any of them. The one about the sister is even worse. "Meh meh" doesn't sound like any version of "sister".

In Chinese, 爸爸 /baba/ means "dad", and 妹妹 /meimei/ means "younger sister".

That would make the puns acceptable only to speakers of Chinese.

Right, or to those with a certain knowledge of it.
