Hi,

Is "Irrelevant posts will not be deleted when the discussion is going on but once they are dead or inactive (I mean when there's no more discussion), they will be deleted" correct?

If that is a general statement, I think "a discussion" is more appropriate. It is better to replace "it" with "the thread", like what we have in this forum.

You will also need to explain at what point a thread is deemed "dead or inactive". After how many days/weeks/months without any new posts will you decide that it's time to delete it?
