Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"It's hard. They are the majority shareholders and it is their right to do what they want best, such as demolishing the historical heritage of the city to build a building. In addition they are already in process to obtain the permission of the Municipal Works Directorate"

Thanks.

Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"It's hard. They are the majority shareholders and it is their right to do what they [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] think/believe is best, such as demolishing the historical heritage of the city to [STRIKE]build[/STRIKE] make way for a building. In addition, they are already in the process [STRIKE]to obtain[/STRIKE] of obtaining the permission of the Municipal Works Directorate."

Thanks.

See above. I don't like "the historical heritage". Are you talking about historical buildings being demolished?

In that case, I'd say something like "... such as demolishing historical buildings to make way for new ones/structures". You could swap "buildings" and "structures" in that version.
