Hi.
I am trying to use the phrase "just to name a few" in my sentence.
The purpose is to list a few examples within the sentence through the use of parenthetical construction.
Let me know which of the sentences below is correct, or both are incorrect.
#1 "More than twenty novels--Old Man and The Sea, Oliver Twist, The Great Gatsby, just to name a few--have been added to the library's collection."
#2 "More than twenty novels--"Old Man and The Sea", "Oliver Twist", "The Great Gatsby", just to name a few--have been added to the library's collection."
#3 "More than twenty novels--"Old Man and The Sea", "Oliver Twist", "The Great Gatsby" (just to name a few)--have been added to the library's collection."
