enjoy is the key to this sentence. I don't understand why we can't choose prefer.

Right. Prefer it to what?

Enjoy is correct.

Prefer only works if the comparison is clear. For instance:

- Many kids prefer riding in sedan chairs to walking.
- Many kids don't prefer walking to riding unicycles.
