Somebody who understands 'drill down' in this context may answer your question.
 
The first sounds more likely.
 
If I write:

Is the same is also correct?
 
For me, "drill down" means to examine the numbers that are below and make up the top numbers.

Rover already corrected your sentence which started "Are both". It is "Do both".
