Hello everyone,

From the book Choose Your Story, Change Your Life by Kindra Hall.

I fought with Netflix back when they sent DVDs, insisting that I canceled my membership before my monthly billing was due, and could they please refund the $7 because my bank account was over- drawn. Even in high school, I had this habit of tucking my cash in the fold of my sock. The number of times I stood at the concession stand at the football game and was unable to buy the popcorn I had ordered because my money fell out of my sock.

Yes, I have done some no-way-around-it dumb things with money.

"There's no way around (it)" means that there is no solution to avoid a particular outcome. Examples

But I'm still unsure as to what "no-way-around-it dumb things with money" means.

"No-way-around-it" connects to "dumb". She's saying "There's no way around admitting this - I've done some dumb things with money". She feels obliged to admit this.
