I read a story and found a sentence that I want to rewrite it. Is it possible?

Original: Peter was looking at me as if I had lost my mind.

My version: I have lost my mind if Ken is looking at me.

Source and author?

I read a story and found a sentence that I want to rewrite. [STRIKE]it.[/STRIKE] Is [STRIKE]it[/STRIKE] my version possible?

See above. You've made this same error in several posts now. If you want to use "rewrite it", you have to start differently.

I read a story and found a sentence. I want to rewrite it.
I read a story, found a sentence, and I want to rewrite it.
I read a story and found a sentence that I want to rewrite. (No "it".)

The original is understandable and makes sense. Your rewrite is not close to the original and doesn't make sense.

The original means that Peter's expression suggested that he thought you had gone crazy. His expression did not cause you to look that way- he was reacting to something you had said or done.

When did Peter change his name to Ken, and why?
