I tried online dictionaries and can't seem to find a clear answer to this one..
How would you read/pronounce Jaye (as a girl's name)?

I would pronounce it just like the bird - blue "jay". For me, it rhymes with "hay", "may", etc.

If the person came from an English-speaking country, I would pronounce it as if there were no "e" at the end. I would assume it was "Jay". It would, of course, depend on the nationality of the girl. If I knew for a fact she was Spanish, I would pronounce it "ha-yay" with the throaty "h" sound at the start.

I'd say /ʤeɪ/
