Hello all,

what is the correct spelling of publically? Is it publically or publicly?

I've seen both of the above being used, but I am not sure which one is more commonly used or if one of them is wrong.

'Publically' is wrong.

However, it is 'basically', not 'basicly'.

I thought it was an older Brit spelling. In any case, there are half a million UK sites that use it. Here's one for fun:
