I scroll through or scroll down. I don't just scroll. Other people might.

Thank you very much for the answer. But I didn't get the last part. Does it mean that it's possible to say 'scroll Facebook?'

It's possible, of course, but it doesn't sound quite natural to me. If others do it, they'll say so.

I can't think of a context where the verb scroll is used without a preposition.

I hear people talk of browsing Facebook.

Technically scrolling means mocving within a page that is larger than your screen. Browsing means moving from page to page.

So I would scroll through this thread but I would browse this forum.

I did spend a long time as an IT consultant before becoming a music journalist so I am afraid that I can be a little pedantic about these things.

According to all the answer I hope it's completely natural to say:
1) "All you do is scroll through Facebook and Instagram all day long."

And I think it's correct to say 'scroll all the way down/up.' For example:
2) "You'll find the file if you scroll all the way down."

Yes, those are both natural.
