Does "tiring" fit this sentence? Do both "tiring" and "tiring" make the meaning of "being fed up with something"?

ex)(Tiring/Tired) of playing games, we went out to ride out bikes.
The correct answers are tiring or tired in this question.

Maybe "tire" makes sense in terms of "getting exhausted" in this sentence, but I have never heard of "Tiring of something" as above.
ex)Her legs were beginning to tire.

If you "tire of something", you get bored with it.

Author(s), please.
There are four authors of the book who work for the publishing company. I don't know if I need to name them. This isn't a book written by a single author. This book is for middle school & high school students to study.

Tell us either the names of all four, or the name of the first plus 'et al' (- and others).

I would say:

Tired of playing games, we went out to ride our bikes.

Or:

Because we were tired of playing games, we went out to ride our bikes.

Faded until keannu provides the information requested.
