Hello.
Let's say a person lives in Afghanistan. Another in Brazil. Is it correct to say she is a continent [Europe between them] and an ocean [the Atlantic ocean] away?
Jack lives in Afghanistan.
Jill live in Brazil.
Jack was lying awake in bed and wondered if Jill ever thought about him. "Nah. Why should she care about me anymore? She is a continent and an ocean away. She doesn't care about me anymore."
If that doesn't work, how can I express it?
