The burden on the members of our school is increasing, especially on the students

Is it acceptable to use "for" or simply no preposition to form the last clause?

Both of those changes would be for the worse. The sentence already says what it means.
You could possibly use "for", but not no preposition at all.

I think we can use 'for', and I think it's an improvement: The burden on the members of our school is increasing, especially for the students.

It is increasing for the students. What is increasing? The burden on members of the school.
