Hi, everyone!

while i reading the book of 『The Hostage』by Amelia Gray,
i have one question. So i'll ask you.

It's a phrase of book.

He pulled back the leather chair behind one of the desks and sat.
It felt funny to be behind a desk, dressed as he was in black fatigues.
The bank robber couldn't remember the last time he'd sat behind any desk, and he'd certainly never been near one this nice.

Re: what "black fatigues" does mean?

Quotation marks in English look like this: "quoted text" or this: 'quoted text'. Don't mark text with any other kind of punctuation.

Always capitalize the word "I". Please get this right the next time you use the word.

Please note that there is no such thing as a phrase of book. It's a phrase you found in a book.
