elide t after n, so that "Santa" becomes "Sana"?

Which U.S. states/regions
1. elide schwa, such that "telephone" is pronounced "tel-fohn"?
2. replace schwa with short u, such that it becomes "tel-uh-fohn"?
3. do neither, such that it's pronounced "tel-eh-fohn"?

Thanks.

This difference is very hard to discriminate. I don't even know for sure what the native speakers from my own region say. All of the pronunciations tend to merge into one another in speech. For myself, I would probably not use 1, but 2 and 3 seem equally acceptable.
