I know you have explained the rules to me, but, in this case, I found more stuff that are confusing me. Please, be patient with my stupidity...

John turns around. The boy that yelled at him looks like him. He's wearing a... (the rest of the text is irrelevant).

According to what you told me the other time, it is clear that He's wearing is referring to the nameless boy, since it's closer to the boy than it is to John. However, in this case, there are also two him in-between, which I'm afraid might create confusion. Is it clear that those two him are referring to John?

The natural thought is that it is the boy who is wearing whatever it is.
