    Default Re: People - Peoples?

People is the plural of person.

There were 30 people at the party.

Sometimes, people can be used in a plural form to mean the people living in a particular area, country, or ethnic group

The peoples of South America mostly speak Portugese and Spanish.

For more information, please read is people singular or plural?
