Breaking down a sentence
I am not sure how to break down a sentence in this way. eg. Underline the subject; bold the verb. If the subject is the understood/elliptical you, write (You). Label nouns of address (NA). Italicize prepositional phrases.
1. The boss was shocked by the employee’s negative attitude.
