Here is a sentence confusing me
Electronic copy of the interview is available to view until destroyed.
What does the sentence mean? Especially the phrase 'until destroyed'?
Cheers.
M
It's not a very useful sentence, is it?
They are available until they are not... which would be... when?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
That's a good question. I guess one can usually make up a scenario in which the sentence can make sense.
Maybe such copies are usually available for only 72 hours, but this one will be available until it is destroyed at the end of the month. (unless of course that is within 72 hours of its release)
