until & present perfect tense

Doesn't "until" go well with the present perfect or past perfect tense which is used in main clause when we use until in the subordinate clause ?

If we say as follow: I have waited him until now or I had waited him until at 7, is this sentence grammatically correct or not?

Please help me realize what point I misunderstand.

Please help me realize what point I misunderstand.

I added the word "for" him in both sentences, it now would be correct.
