summon/preposterous/punitive damages/backside/hang it there/catch on/picking order
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentences?

summon = ask to come; ask to attend
With all due respect , this is preposterous.
preposterous = absurd; totally ridiculous

Catch on as a phrasal verb has only two meanings:
