    Default There is lots of OR there are lots of?

    There is lots of snow.

    There are lots of snow.

    Which one is correct? Does the verb agree with the pronoun "lots" or with the uncountable noun "snow"?

    "There is lots/a lot of snow", "There are lots/a lot of cars".
