I have a question about a word, I was making a transcript, but didn't get the right spelling / meaning of one word. Ferority of fearority... maybe with a "V". I think it has something to do with "fear".
This is the sentence:
"And social structures which create relationships based on inequality and ferority are inflicted with the greatest deal of social pain and neuroses".
All help is welcome...
Thanks

'Ferocity', maybe?
Word with a 'v' and goes with inequality - favoritism?
I agree that "inferiority" makes complete sense.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
How do you 'create relationships based on inferiority'?"And social structures which create relationships based on inequality and inferiority are inflicted with the greatest deal of social pain and neuroses".
"And social structures which create relationships based on inequality and inferiority are inflicted with the greatest deal of social pain and neuroses".
If you read the OP's sentence, with the word "inferiority", you can see it is saying that social structures based on inequality and inferiority are inflicted with social pain and neuroses. This seems quite logical to me, it is true, however, that it could be better written.
I think it is inferiority. I've read many novels which are based on this idea you've mentioned. So I guess the word is inferiority.
