Hi there , can U plz explain in detail the exact meaning of the word Youtube

I know that tube can mean T .V , but the word Youtube means
a. Your t.v , your channel
b. You are the one who makes this T .V who sends the footage ...etc
or something else

Tube means the imaginary channel through which information flows to you. 'You' should denote the site is for your benefit.

I'm sure someone (maybe the same person) asked this about a week ago, and there were several replies.

However, as far as I'm concerned it basically means "television that you make yourself". That's because all the clips, movies etc on there have been either created or uploaded by users of the website.
