"put in hack"
Hi,
What's the meaning of this idiom please? Is it used in BrE?
(I heard it in the film "Top Gun",...The commander tells a pilot he'd screwed up a few tymes twice put in hack by him...Sort of "ignore"?)
Ta!

Hi Mehrgan,
"put in hack" (confined to the ship)
"Put in Hack" was the primary way junior officers were punished for not being perfect.
