I am not sure which one to use when referring to a mountain that is towards the north of a X site.
- A mountain stands at the north of the site. OR
- A mountain stands on the north of the site. OR
- A mountain stands in the north of the site.
I have gone through a couple of websites i.e wikipedia and dictionary and they all seem to be correct.
Please let me know if any of them is incorrect.
Thank you.
Do you really need a preposition? Wouldn't "A mountain stands north of the site" be correct?
