The difference between big,high,great keeps confusing me.
Could you please help me find out
Big/high/great probability.
Bigger/higher/greater probability
Bigger/higher/greater number.

Please give us some examples of sentences where you have some confusion. It's impossible to give a set of rules about these words, as it will always depend on the context.

'Big' is generally a child's word. Avoid it in writing, especially academic. Use 'large' instead - it means exactly the same.
"A high probability" is best.
"A great probability" is good.
"A large probability" is acceptable.
"A larger/greater number"
PS: I also agree with the above post, now that I see it.
