Is this sentence correct?

I come to know that you are intelligent.

It just doesn't sound okay to me.

You "get to know" a person, not a fact. "Getting to know" means gradually becoming more friendly with them. We don't use it to talk about "knowing" a fact.

I got to know her well.
I got to know her over a period of about 3 months.
I came to understand that she had had a very bad childhood.
I came to realise that she is very intelligent.

So you wouldn't follow "get/got to know" with the word "that". It's invariably followed by a personal pronoun (objective).

It's not wrong. But this whole "I got to know; I came to know" is not colloquial English.
We don't use it to express this concept.
For this, we use the phrasal verb "find out":
"I found out that he plays golf."
"I hope she doesn't find out".
"I found out that you are intelligent."

Sometimes, "discover" is used:
"I discovered that he plays golf."
"I've discovered that you are quite intelligent!"

I see someone beat me to saying that we use "I discovered..." or "I found out..." in the context you're using.

As far as your latest question is concerned, it might be a good idea if you start a completely new thread as you are totally changing the subject.
