A couple words to assist with.

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with using the following words in a sentence:
Resented, Reproach and reprieve.

As for the word, reprieve, would it be correctly to use it in a sentence below:
"In light of new evidence the sentence has been reprieved due to a necessity for further investigation."

Sentences aren't reprieved, people are.

Your example using a form of "reprieve" is OK but I would prefer to use the word as applicable to a person, such as "He has gained a reprieve and his sentence has been suspended." But either use is grammatically OK.

With regard to the other terms, He resented (was annoyed) being reproached (expressing displeasure) for his behavior by someone outside the family.
