Dear friends,
how to use increase as a noun? I mean, there was an increase of/in profits. In the sentence, which one is correct? of or in?
Thanks.
An increase "in" profits.
At least, that's how I would say it.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
